1. Use of the Platform

ScreenSync is a personal media tracking tool. You agree to use the platform only for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:

• Use automated scripts, scrapers, or bots to interact with our website or extract data.
• Spam or flood our media request and submission queues with false, repetitive, or malicious entries.
• Attempt to bypass our verification systems or interfere with the admin curation process.

2. Accounts, Profiles, and Security

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access ScreenSync. Furthermore, you are solely responsible for the content you post to your public profile, including your biography and social media links.

You agree not to post content that is illegal, offensive, malicious, or intended to spam other users. We reserve the right to remove any profile content or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Intellectual Property and Metadata

The code, design, and unique functionality of ScreenSync are our property. However, the media metadata—including TV show titles, movie posters, summaries, and episode lists—is sourced from TheTVDB and remains the intellectual property of the respective studios, networks, and creators.

ScreenSync claims no ownership over this external media data.

4. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of ScreenSync at any time, with or without notice. This includes the right to clear out unfulfilled media requests or wipe inactive accounts as part of standard database maintenance.

5. Limitation of Liability

ScreenSync is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that the site will always be error-free or that media syncing will always be perfectly accurate due to the reliance on third-party APIs. We are not liable for any data loss regarding your library, profile, or watch history.
